Permission Marketing Policy
Dotfusion Express provides web-based software enabling organizations of all sizes to
send permission-based e-mails to their subscribers. Dotfusion Express believes in and
practices only permission-based e-mail marketing. Our client members may only
use our software to send e-mails to customers and prospects that have agreed to
receive e-mail from them (opt-in), and are forbidden to transmit unsolicited
commercial e-mail (spam) via our system.

Our clients agree not to use our system to send unsolicited e-mail. For any opt-in list of e-mail addresses used in our system, clients agree to provide Dotfusion Express with the source of the e-mail addresses, the method used to capture the data, and verification of the consent to receive e-mails from such client. We also encourage our members to respect their customers’ time and attention by controlling the frequency of mailings to individual e-mail addresses.
Our clients certify that they will not use rented or purchased lists, e-mail append lists, or any other list that contains e-mail addresses captured in any other method than opt-in. Why did you receive an e-mail from our system?

We promise to keep your e-mail address secure and private and will not use it for other purposes.

Confirmed Opt-In
Dotfusion Express has taken an additional step for permission-based marketing by building the technology for “verified opt-in” into our web site e-mail collection tools used by Dotfusion Express and many of our clients. Any time someone adds their e-mail address using our name collection tools for our clients using confirmed opt-in, they will be sent an e-mail asking them to verify that they wish to receive communications via e-mail. Only those responding affirmatively to the confirmation will be opted in for future mailings via the Dotfusion Express system.
- Results. e-mail marketing is most effective when messages are anticipated, personal and relevant. Sending unsolicited e-mail reduces deliverability and ROI.
- Reputation. Inappropriate use of e-mail generates customer complaints and will damage your reputation and brand.
- Legal Environment. Permission e-mail marketing is no longer voluntary. Recently enacted state legislation and other pending bills make “direct consent” the law, and permit large fines for marketers not following permission practices.
